The property is lovely, beautiful grounds and in the summer the outside pool would be lovely! The room was great, perfect for our family of 4 (kids are 2 and 4). Bunk beds are small in length but as our kids are little it was perfect for us. The main bed was super big and comfy which was great.

Fab surroundings, great staff in reception and restaurant, fabulous food and reasonable prices for exquisite food and drinks. Didn’t use spa as only fleeting visit, but would book in for longer! Dulcie and Lucy on reception very helpful! Alex and Ben patient in allowing us to ask questions about venue layout and breakfast/dinner concerns. Didn’t feel pressurised to buy products at spa reception , even after asking numerous questions. Breakfast was well prepared , good quality and of good portion and hot. Dinner was fabulous! Topped up with new tea pots on request.

The staff were excellent. The indoor pool was a good size and the perfect temperature. Unfortunately we didn't have time to explore the other leisure facilities but hope to do so in the future. The room was spacious, warm and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel was easy to find and we liked the location. We would stay here again.

The food was very nice. The staff were lovely and accommodating. The decor was nice in both the main building and the bedroom. Would have asked for a ground floor room had I realised the rooms were outside. Brilliant pool and gym facilities.

We had stayed here before so knew exactly what to expect. If you want a 5 star luxury spa hotel it's not for you. But we love the location (we visit the area for winter birdwatching mostly) and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with large beds. We like having a bath as well as shower, so that's a plus. The indoor swimming pool is a great rainy day option. The outdoor pool looks lovely but we don't come here in summer! The breakfast offers plenty of choice and is better quality than we would normally expect in a large but not luxury hotel.

I was expecting just a normal hotel room in the building pictured. Was over the moon to find my room was actually a suite just off the main manor house and it had a little patio with table and chairs outside. I think the weather helped as it was a hot summer day. I loved being able to use the pool and if I wished I could have used the tennis courts. A choice of bath or shower. Beautiful grounds to walk around. The 11 am checkout was brilliant as it gave me plenty of time in the morning of departure. Location was peaceful and I had a fantastic night's sleep. Restaurant served delicious food but an expensive treat to myself. Breakfast which was included in my package was buffet style in a different part of the complex and again it was spot on. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I went away feeling totally rested.

The overall facilities for the money is really very impressive. I live in the New forest so would not have stayed in this hotel unless it was such good value for a nice night away. There are other reviews not rating this hotel highly for the decor and quality of the spa. However, the other arguably nicer, spa hotels in the new forest are 2 or 3 times the price. For the money, Elmers court is very respectable and also right next to the ferry for the Isle of Wight should you need this.
